Our BT Graduate Program
We know you are keen to start adding value to our business and our development program will lay the foundations needed for you to build a career with us. You’ll take part in a two year program with a focus on developing core skills coupled with participation in graduate community activities and projects.
As Graduate Software Engineers, you will apply your software development knowledge to work in collaboration with Business Analysts, Testers and other project team members on the analysis and design through to the development and delivery of software applications.
We will help you develop a strong working knowledge of:
Relational database management systems
- Programming languages
- Agile development methodologies, practices and principles
- Full software development lifecycle
- Develop, maintain and support application software
- Unit and integration testing on developed code
- Unit and system test plans
Who are we seeking?
You’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a progressive attitude, and a solid customer focus. You will have excellent analytical and research skills, project skills, and a love of IT! In return, you can look forward to all the development and guidance you need to realise your full potential.
You will have strong academic results and are a recent graduate having completed your degree in the last 24 months or are about to graduate in 2010.
