Web Analytics Technical Lead

Web Analytics Technical  Lead

  • Contribute to the overall software engineering operations part of our talented Customer Asset team in CDTO.

The Role:

The Tech Lead is responsible for driving and delivering technical solutions based on industry best practice and principles. They are ultimately accountable for code quality, solution output, software engineering output and the end to end delivery cycle of initiatives that ensure our delivery is best practice both at the time solutions are required and ongoing.

They provide technical advice and work on complex issues, working with stakeholders to provide quality outcomes and advice to our customers. They are a mentor and guide to our software engineers and are accountable for the overall output. The Tech lead will operate effectively with cross-functional feature teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a layer of technical leadership over the software engineering teams.
  • Drive technical solution design, estimation, and delivery for business problems adhering to the domain architectural strategies.
  • Establishing and maintaining a software engineering forum/community within the team.
  • Lead the improvement of automated testing practices and security in the team.
  • Upskill and mentor developers of various experience and capability.
  • Be a quality and best practice evangelist and provide oversight and governance of the development initiatives.
  • Define software quality practices and improve development processes.
  • Share your knowledge and experience with the developer community within Suncorp.

Skills & Experience:

  •  A proven track record of web development with skills in JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, AJAX, and Web 2.0, JSON. Java with strong focus on automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of online analytics platforms. Experience with the Adobe Marketing Cloud, in particular Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Adobe Audience Manager is highly desired.
  • Experience working with tag management systems such as Ensighten, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager or Google Analytics.
  • Experience on Mobile Development from Tagging and personalisation perspective is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Through knowledge on web development frameworks (AngularJS , Java Frameworks) .
  • Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading/caching).
