Key Account Manager

  • Drive business and group priorities within this critical role
  • 8 month contract reporting into the Senior Key Account Manager (Workers Compensation)
  • An opportunity to collaborate across brokers and build strong relationships

The purpose of the Key Account Manager NSW role is critical to the retention and profitable growth of Key accounts in NSW and on a national basis. The role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, end clients and all internal stakeholders, and leveraging from existing broker and end customer relationships to provide a complete solution to their insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring consistent execution and delivery of service to our intermediaries and end clients across multiple lines of insurance
  • Account managing specified Corporate Insurance and Workers Compensation clients, including national employer accounts across respective jurisdictions
  • Managing strategic relationships with allocated key clients and brokers
  • Retention of key accounts across all product lines, including facilitation and management of the renewal process, obtaining pricing and various information to ensure smooth renewal cycle, as required
  • Retention of Workers Compensation account managed clients, including National key clients in line with retention targets
  • Implementing and monitoring strategic annual programmes and service plans/agreements for allocated key clients
  • Demonstrate initiative in all customer interactions (both internal and external) to exceed their expectations

 Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years+ in the Commercial Insurance/Workers Compensation industry
  • Knowledge of the Commercial Insurance market, operations and product
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation’s across Australia and other corporate products
  • Proven capabilities for managing relationships with national clients and international brokers
  • Some interstate travel
  • Frequent out of office broker/customer visits
