HR Advisor

  • Part-time, 9-month contract role (4 days per week)
  • Partner with the business to deliver HR expertise
  • Sydney, CBD location


The Role

This opportunity exists to provide HR support to customers within the Claims function. The objective of the PX Advisor is to create value through partnering with the Executive Manager People Experience to ensure an ongoing high-performance culture is met and exceeded.


Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the PX Executive Manager - Claims, this role will have a broad HR remit supporting the Personal Injury Claims leadership team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the EM on Area specific PX initiatives and advice
  • Area specific, PX project delivery in conjunction with the Executive Manager
  • Driving the Personal Injury Claims agenda by working with leadership teams to set and deliver People strategies for the long-term value creation within the business
  • Contribute to the development of the people strategy, workforce planning and implementation plans in line with client/business requirements
  • Partner and collaborate across the People Experience function to develop and deliver effective integrated solutions that reflect the business objectives of the client group and the broader organisation
  • Identify and drive the communication and sharing of best practices across teams and functions to reduce duplication, remove blockages and facilitate continuous improvement


Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline in desired
  • 5 – 8 years senior HR leadership – preferably within financial or professional services
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex workforce matters independently
  • Strong experience with Health and Safety
  • High level of business acumen and deep understanding of core drivers of business
  • Ability to influence and engage with all levels in the organisation
