Portfolio Analyst - Digital Programs

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Analyst to join our Digital Programs portfolio team.  The Digital Programs Portfolio Analyst aspires to increase alignment between portfolio and strategy and increase delivery capability and maturity across Digital Technology.

You will support the Performance teams in ensuring the portfolio governance and financial reporting requirements are met across all Digital Performance projects.

Key accountabilities of the role are as follows:

  • Produce analysis to highlight upcoming funding challenges or risks to the portfolio budget
  • Make recommendations for improvement of portfolio financial tracking and reporting processes
  • Perform quality assurance on projects prior to phase gate submission into the relevant governance channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the Digital Performance team and wider Digital Technology team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant TDL Project and Delivery Managers
  • Track, analyse and report on workforce numbers against budget, proactively highlighting status/risks to ELT so decisions can be made.
  • Continuous interaction with Leaders to manage the quality of data across the workforce.
  • Ensure effective tracking of overall workforce and forecasting.
  • Monthly reconciliation of workforce data against HR systems.
  • Support stakeholders with FTE and budget reporting requirements.
  • Provide monthly time sheeting reports back to suppliers.
  • Prepare weekly dashboard reporting.
  • Report and communicate monthly leave compliance data.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a PMO or across a large programme of work
  • Experience applying Agile techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Complex budget and financial management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
  • Sound knowledge of Project Management methodology, processes and tools
