Transitions Lead

  • Brisbane/Melbourne or Sydney location

We are looking for a Risk Lead to join our team and execute the successful business delivery of the Customer Engagement Platform and Contact Centre Business Improvement Program (BIP) by proactively identifying risk and compliance issues and actively engaging and sourcing complete solutions from our legal, risk and compliance partners across the Group.

Key Accountabilities of the role are as follows:

  • Setting and managing the risk and compliance framework that sits across our program of work
  • Interfacing with other risk and compliance teams across the group to ensure they are informed and engaged about our program of work and we are working collaboratively to identify and rectify any risk that may arise
  • Making sure our solutions don’t breach any existing frameworks that are in place
  • Keeping up to date with legislative, competitor and regulatory developments to support business delivery in relation to risk and compliance activities 

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Previous experience in a risk and compliance role with an emphasis on business delivery of large scale, corporate technology projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to manage relationships across a broad network of stakeholders
  • Problem solving skills – ability to look laterally and deeply at issues and find workable solutions, rather than work arounds
  • Negotiating and influencing skills – ability to manage difficult conversations effectively
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the establishment and management of risk and compliance frameworks and a good understanding of where to find information that is not known
  • Proactive self-starter – ability to hit the ground running and can effectively manage their own time
