Operations Delivery Manager

  • Various locations- Brisbane/Rockhampton/Mackay/Bunderberg/ Emerald

We are currently looking for an Operations Delivery Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Operational Delivery, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of operational changes across the Region's Business Customer teams.

You will also be accountable for smooth site operations including compliance, continuous improvement, customer experience and employee engagement,  and ensuring the region is well positioned to meet customer demand and be the 'genuine alternative' for customers.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating region customer, product, service and compliance training activities
  • Supporting and coordinating customer service/satisfaction improvement activities
  • Work with the Regional Manager to ensure the operational effectiveness of the team
  • Managing regional property and asset requirements
  • Co-ordinating local event management activities in line with team plans
  • Supporting the Regional Manager with regional business planning and deployment.

Using your strong communication skills you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the bank. You will work to effectively support them in implementing sales, service, operational, process, and credit quality initiatives. You will also be responsible for the identification of continuous improvement and adherence to policies, processes and requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commerce or finance desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent levels of customer service through an operational function
  • A high level of commercial acumen
  • Be able to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise your time to meet designated timeframes
  • Strong problem solving ability to find mutually beneficial solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services along with banking and financial industry principles and regulations.

Some out of hours work will be required along with regional and interstate travel when required.
