Business Analyst - Personal Injury Claims

The Role:

As a Business Analyst you will be working with key stakeholders to analyse our current environment and plan for optimising our business, and be responsible for delivering business improvement outcomes.

Having a positive attitude and “can do” approach will be key to your success in this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and change managers to deliver business improvement and project outcomes.
  • Establish strong relationships with a wide variety of business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Analyse business processes, applying critical and innovative thinking to improve them.
  • Analyse complex business problems and provide recommendations on solutions.
  • Perform requirements gathering and analysis to ensure great business outcomes.
  • Assist with the identification and analysis of key benefit metrics that inform cost/benefit analysis.
  • Drive a cross-functional way of working that enables collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Work across the Claims Solutions team collaboratively to resolve issues, raise opportunities and promote new ideas for consideration.

Required qualifications/experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years Stakeholder engagement and influence with senior management.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst function.
  • Minimum 3 years in the financial services industry desired
  • Ability to actively collaborate across Personal Injury Claims, Insurance and the Group functions to support the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Excellent requirement gathering and eliciting skills – run workshops, observations, brainstorming sessions and requirements workshops and accurately record relevant requirements information.
  • Excellent critical thinking ability –  analyse current issues and constraints and see opportunities to overcome them.
  • Oral & Written Communication - ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently using appropriate techniques (format & presentation style).
