Provider Management Advisor

The purpose of this role is to develop and provide communications and change management support across the multiple Customer Solutions support teams. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage providers across medico-legal, rehabilitation, legal and investigation panels in accordance with icare requirements
  • Monitor and analyse provider data to identify trends
  • Undertake initiatives with providers to maximise performance (in collaboration with icare)
  • Provide injury management and provider utilisation expertise to the Personal Injury claims teams to assist with strategic claims management decision making and ensuring that best practice is applied
  • Provide technical expertise and/or mentoring to support the development of injury management staff to ensure appropriate performance standards are achieved and to ensure consistency of approach regarding injury management and provider utilisation
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture by identifying areas of opportunity and developing strategies to achieve improvement
  • Provide injury management and provider utilisation expertise and support to departmental leadership teams ensuring ongoing quality decisions and outcomes

Person Specification


  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Communications, Law or related field – Desired


  • Minimum 7 years claims or insurance experience – Desired
