Customer Strategy Advisor

  • Support in developing and executing detailed plans to achieve the Group’s customer strategy
  • Identify and priortise choices/target segments using strategic insights and conducting value analysis
  • Design presentations and artefacts  to explain the customer strategy to internal and external stakeholders
    Brisbane CBD location
  • 12 months secondment/contract

About the role

As the Customer Strategy Advisor, you will support in developing and co-ordinating detailed plans to achieve the Group’s customer strategy. You will do this through providing input to strategic frameworks, conducting analysis, measuring customer benefits, preparing presentations and artefacts to explain the customer strategy to internal and external stakeholders

You will collaborate with colleagues from across the group to understand and synthesise customer engagement framework/s and other components of the customer strategy, such as customer value propositions. 

You will provide input to strategic frameworks and supporting analysis to assist strategic leaders explain customer related plans and initiatives.

More specifically you will

  • Design presentations and artefacts to explain the customer strategy to internal and external stakeholders
    Collaborate with key Strategic and Business Leaders from across the business to align plans and initiatives with the customer strategy
  • Work across the Group to ensure alignment and consistent understanding of priorities for key customer journeys and other customer initiatives (e.g. signature plays)
  • Have an understanding of the group’s Business Plan through the voice of the customer and quantified growth opportunities that are linked to the P&L
  • Provide analysis to identify and prioritise choices on “where to play” using strategic insights from next best action and trigger based analysis across a customer’s potential lifetime value
  • Contribute to the narrative on how we will ‘create value for our customers’, supported by key customer metrics and performance indicators
  • Prepare reports, presentations and documents to articulate and explain long term plans for specific customer journeys

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary education in business or commerce related degree is desirable
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services
  • Previous experience in a strategy role is desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Proven project coordination ability
  • Demonstrated analytical business skills
  • Demonstrable understanding of the financial service market and customer base.
